The Tongariro Alpine Crossing

Tongariro Alpine Crossing

Adventure by day.
Warmth by night.

The Crossing

One of New Zealand's greatest walks.

The Tongariro Alpine Crossing is rated one of the best one-day walks in the world. Volcanic craters, emerald lakes, ancient lava flows, and sweeping views across the Central Plateau, across 19 kilometres of raw New Zealand wilderness.

We are perfectly positioned, just 30 minutes from the trailhead, quiet enough to sleep properly the night before, and set up to send you off early and recover you afterwards.
